Christine Underwood

Christine believes a child’s ability to communicate is their most important skill. All children communicate whether verbally or non-verbally. Improving their ability to express their wants, needs, and ideas to those around them can decrease frustration and dramatically increase their quality of life.

Christine has worked with children birth to 21 with a wide array of speech and language abilities learn to communicate more effectively. She provides speech therapy services in the child’s home to increase generalization into their natural environment.

Christine graduated in 2015 with her master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. She is a licensed memeber of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), Missouri Board of Healing Arts (MBHA) and the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). She also obtained a Autism Spectrum Disorders Clinical Specialist certificate in 2021.
